Constellations 2
For signs and seasons

Constellations 1 discussed ancient astronomy.
2 Kings 23:5 (ESV) And he deposed the priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to make offerings in the high places at the cities of Judah and around Jerusalem; those also who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and the moon and the constellations and all the host of the heavens.
Deuteronomy 4:19 And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.
Scripture is clear that worshipping the hosts of heaven is idolatry. This could also be described as "putting your trust in" or "relying upon." Scripture is also clear that The Lord Put the cosmos into place. Scripture does also include references to constellations. This list is not exhaustive:
Psalm 8:3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
Job 9:9 who made the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the chambers of the south
Job 26:13 By his wind the heavens were made fair; his hand pierced the fleeing serpent.
Job 38:31-32 31 “Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades or loose the cords of Orion? 32 Can you lead forth the Mazzaroth in their season, or can you guide the Bear with its children?
Amos 5:8 He who made the Pleiades and Orion, and turns deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth,the Lord is his name;
Genesis 1:14-15 14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so.
In Genesis 1:14-15, the word for "signs" is Strong's H226, meaning sign, pledge, token, omen, banner, standard, witness, symbols of the prophets. "Seasons" can also be translated as "appointed times," (Strong's H4150) particularly a sacred season, set feast, appointed meeting or assembly, appointed sign, signal.
The Pleiades, also known as Seven Sisters and Messier 45, is an asterism of an open star cluster in the northwest of the constellation Taurus. The Pleiades was used to establish many ancient calendars due to its unique and easily identifiable appearance on the celestial vault near the ecliptic. And also because in 2330 BC, this asterism marked the vernal point. The vernal point is the specific point on the celestial sphere where the Sun crosses the celestial equator from the southern to the northern hemisphere, marking the vernal equinox and the astronomical start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. It serves as the zero point for right ascension in the equatorial coordinate system, from which celestial longitude is measured. The Pleiades is mentioned several times in Scripture.
The Pleiades and the Hyades (another star cluster in Taurus) form the posts of a virtual gate on both sides of the ecliptic line ... this gate is called The Golden Gate of the Ecliptic.
From 4000 to 1500 BC the equinox was within the constellation Taurus. The equinox occurs twice a year (fall and spring), when the sun crosses the plane of the earth's equator, making the day and night everywhere of equal length.
The spring / vernal equinox is the start of the astronomical calendar.
Due to the Procession of the Equinoxes, the equinox moves westward slowly over time. In ancient times the Sun started the year coming out of The Golden Gate of the Ecliptic, in Taurus.
Currently, due to procession of the equinoxes, the vernal equinox is in the constellation Aries.
The Bear refers to Ursa Major (the Great Bear) and Ursa Minor (the Little Bear). Ursa Major is the third-largest constellation in the sky and contains the famous Big Dipper asterism. Ursa Minor contains Polaris (the North Star) and the Little Dipper asterism. There is a large serpentine constellation "Draco" (means "dragon") between the Great Bear and Little Bear. Draco circles the North Star, and from the northern viewpoint, this constellation never sets.
Orion, the hunter, is one of the most visible constellations, containing many bright stars. Orion’s belt, consisting of three bright stars, lies nearly on the celestial equator. His sword, south of the belt, contains the great Orion Nebula, an emission nebula containing hundreds of young stars, which is visible to the unaided eye.
The Mazzaroth is Strong's H4216, a word only used once in Scripture. Refers to stars, since it is plural, may refer to the zodiac. Which makes sense with the wording in Job 38 "Can you lead forth the Mazzaroth in their season..." The zodiac constellations are along the ecliptic: the earth's orbit projected onto the celestial sphere, along which the sun appears to move as viewed from the earth. So from Earth, the Sun appears to move through the zodiac over the year.
Psalm 19:1-6 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. 2 Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. 4 Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, 5 which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. 6 Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
Constellations are humanity's oldest map. In 1922, The International Astronomical Union settled the constellation list to the current 88 constellations. In 1930 they drew precise boundaries, so every star you can see belongs to exactly one constellation. The zodiac is the belt of constellations the Sun appears to pass through during the year, as Earth orbits around it. That celestial belt is along the earth's ecliptic, ranging about 8° to 9° north and south of the ecliptic. The ecliptic is the apparent path of the Sun across the sky resulting from Earth's orbit. The Sun's path actually crosses 13 constellations, as it spends about two and a half weeks each December inside Ophiuchus, the serpent-bearer. (stellarnomads.com)
So that's a LOT of background to share this:
The Lord Said "The scorpion and the serpent are under foot." And He Showed this to me in the constellations.

And Ophiuchus, the serpent bearer, has his foot on Scorpius. Scorpius has also been known as a serpent or dragon in antiquity. The constellation Hydra (the largest constellation, a snake) is nearby. Ophiuchus straddles the celestial equator (as does Hydra), holding a serpent (the constellation Serpens). This is all in close proximity to Hercules as well.

I will leave you with this Truth:
Luke 10:18-19 18 And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
Saint, are living this as your inheritance?
In Jesus's Name,
