Threads
A vision
3/16/2026
1 Corinthians 12:12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
As explored in the last post series, spiritual maturity brings unity into The Body of Christ. Only yielded under One Spirit, His Holy Spirit, can we begin to see ours and others roles and assignments in His Kingdom.
The Lord Gave me this vision in 2023:
I saw several shimmering golden threads, coming in from multiple angles. The threads were crisscrossing each other in front of me.
The Lord Said "Spun threads of gold".
More and more threads came in, more rapidly. They began crisscrossing each other so as to become more solid, so I could not see space in between the golden threads.
The Lord Said "Woven together in a tapestry."
In that split second I knew those golden threads were the destinies of the saints.
Then suddenly the mass of threads flapped. Like fabric flapping, as when a person has a blanket in both hands and gives it a quick hard shake, snapping it up and down sharply.
And after the fabric snapped, it was pulled up. It was a tapestry. On the tapestry was a beautiful picture of a city. It looked like an ancient city. I asked The Lord "Is this Jerusalem?" The Lord Said "The New Jerusalem."
The city on that tapestry looked like current Jerusalem. I saw a golden dome building. I looked that up and that's actually how I learned about the Islamic Dome of The Rock that's on the Temple Mount (that was an upsetting discovery). So the image on this tapestry was not streets of jewels as The New Jerusalem is Described in Revelation 21 (link). But this vision spoke to the destinies of the saints, woven together...forming a beautiful tapestry of The Body of Christ.
Revelation 21:2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
May this vision offer you encouragement, saint. The Lord Weaves us together to form His Bride. A New Jerusalem. Shining, adorned; a tapestry woven from shimmering threads of gold...the destinies of the saints.
Let us trust The Work of His Hands in the Weaving. Let us appreciate the Beauty of His Work. In and through us. In and through others.
Exodus 39:1-3 Making the Priestly Garments 1 From the blue and purple and scarlet yarns they made finely woven garments, for ministering in the Holy Place. They made the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 2 He made the ephod of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen. 3 And they hammered out gold leaf, and he cut it into threads to work into the blue and purple and the scarlet yarns, and into the fine twined linen, in skilled design.
May we minister in The Holy Place.
In Jesus's name.
