Heavens: Part 2

What relevance does the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd heaven have for humanity? Why not just focus on Jesus?

• 1 Peter 2:2-3 (ESV) 2 Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.

• Hebrews 5:12-14 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, 13 for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. 14 But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.

• 1 Corinthians 3:1-3 But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, 3 for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?

• 1 Corinthians 2:6-10 6 Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. 7 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. ... 10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

• Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.

• James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

• Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding...

Scripture Urges us to long for the spiritual milk of The Gospel. We never outgrow The Gospel. The Gospel is never irrelevant nor insufficient. Scripture also Exhorts us to pursue God in ongoing spiritual growth. 1 Corinthians 2 Refers to The Gospel itself as "secret and hidden wisdom from God." This is not an occult nor esoteric knowledge, that is revealed as one works their way up in a secret society. This is Scripture. The Word of God. Should we not be a people after God's own heart? It is the glory of kings to search God's Heart for Revelation. Everything in Scripture is part of God's Story.

Much of this came as The Lord Taught me about altars. These are all teachings pertaining to the tangible impact of human agreement with different spirits / gods, including Jesus. What we choose to behold, what we choose to think on, to speak on, to act on, to rely on ... we are agreeing with one spirit or another. This is not just about obeying God's Laws. It is about what spirit is driving you, animating you ... what spirit is ruling you? This carries real impact beyond our own lives, as it determines what spirits are ruling bloodlines, regions, sectors (sociological, economic, or political subdivisions of society), nations, etc.

So it all flows top down. 3rd Heaven, where God is, impacts everything, all 'realms'. There is no Scriptural evidence that 2nd heaven activity can actually impose action in the 3rd Heaven.

• Angels coming down from the 3rd Heaven do experience warfare in the 2nd heaven (Daniel 10).

• There is not warfare in 3rd Heaven, as the rebellious angels were thrown out (Revelation 12).

• God does Allow spirits into the 3rd Heaven at His Discretion, for His Purposes. Satan is present in Job 2 and it is reasonable to induce this is after satan is cast out of heaven; as satan is playing the role of "accuser" here, and he's already tempted mankind since Eden. There's a spirt in 1 Kings 22 that says it will be a lying spirit for God's Purpose.

2nd heaven impacts the 1st heaven. The rebellious spirits, the Ephesian 6 spirits, the other gods are engaging in spiritual warfare from this realm. The Lord continues to Speak to me about this in the form of metaphysical impact. Metaphysical as in immaterial, supernatural ... what is beyond physical science. Unseen 'first causes' that impact the physical. Aristotle wrote a book "Metaphysics" (that link is not working but you can find it on Internet Archives) in 350 BC. Thomas Aquinas wrote a commentary on Aristotle's Metaphysics around 1270 AD. I cannot profess to fully understand this. It is a topic The Lord continues to Speak on. For this post, let's recognize that spirits act on this realm. These spirits know our human weaknesses and conspire to deceive and tempt us; to believe them instead of God. To get us to image (represent) them instead of God. To get us to act as their agents instead of God's. To rely on them instead of God.

• Acts 5:1-3 But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, 2 and with his wife's knowledge he kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and laid it at the apostles' feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?

• Genesis 4:6-7 6 The Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen? 7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, and you must rule over it.”

• Mark 9:17-25 17 And someone from the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has a spirit that makes him mute. 18 And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they were not able.” 19 And he answered them, “O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.” 20 And they brought the boy to him. And when the spirit saw him, immediately it convulsed the boy, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth. 21 And Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 22 And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 23 And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!” 25 And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

• Luke 13:11-16 11 And behold, there was a woman who had had a disabling spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your disability.” 13 And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she glorified God. 14 But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, “There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” 15 Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? 16 And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

• John 13:27 Then after he had taken the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly.”

• James 1:13-14 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. 14 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.

In the occult (and I mean this term broadly: satanism, witchcraft, alchemy, gnosticism; all religions other than Christianity are a form of Luciferianism; they all have a works based theology because they all deny the full Truth of Jesus even as some believe partial truths) ... in the occult humans use spells, rituals, psychedelics, etc, to solicit and commune with their gods and lesser spirits. Their intention is to entice and attract more and more powerful spirits to partner with. In effort to gain knowledge, power, and control in this 1st heaven realm (using 2nd heaven assistance). Many cults and even major religions (Mormonism , Islam, Thelema, and many, many more) started after a spirit shows itself to a human, says The Holy Bible is wrong and they dictate a manuscript to the human. Oh, woe! the humans who have sold their souls for a bowl of porridge offered by lesser spirits.

This truly is what happened in Eden: an evil spirit tempted Adam and Eve to believe and follow him instead of God. And by doing such, that spirit was able to exploit (make use of selfishly or unethically) the authority and dominion that God Gave to Adam in this realm. This dance is still happening, and God Wants us to be aware of it.

For saints, we must remember that we are seated with Jesus in the 3rd Heaven.

• Ephesians 1:22-23 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

• Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

• Luke 10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

• Psalm 91:11-13 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

  12 On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.

• James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

• Mark 11:23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.

• 1 Corinthians 6:3 Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life!

When we pray we are praying from a position of Victory in the 3rd Heaven. When we rebuke temptation, we are rebuking from Victory in the 3rd Heaven. When we fight spiritual warfare, we war from Victory in the 3rd Heaven. The 2nd heaven is under our feet, because it's under Jesus's Feet. The 1st heaven is under our feet, because it's under Jesus's Feet. Does that mean everything is currently subjected to us in Jesus? Not all is, every time ... yet. So we still walk by faith, not sight.

• Hebrews 2:8 ... putting everything in subjection under his feet.” Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him.

We are seated in the Highest Realm, by the Grace of Jesus. We have something that these rebellious spirits do not have. That occultists do not have. We have access!

• Hebrews 4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

• Hebrews 10:19-22 19 Therefore, brothers,[a] since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

• Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

Saint, are you living as if you are seated in Victory in the 3rd Heaven?
